Growing up, I have always been a huge fan of games and virtual experiences. I would be indulged in playing games online, whether it was sports games; NBA2K (Basketball), WWE2K (Wrestling), UFC, or strategic war games like Age of Empires, Rise of Nations and much more. I just loved the competitive nature, as well as having to discover new things in a game, like obtainable characters, new upgrades, new buildings, et cetera.
Games like ROBLOX, Fortnite, PlayerUnknown's Battle Grounds (PUBG) and NBA games really helped grow my love for the gaming industry.
Being in the Design course 100 and 101, has been a treat and a learning experience for me. Meeting remarkable design students and teachers alike, who all share a similar passion, in the field of Design. As well as learn new and exciting skills, in ways to convey and show my ideas through many design software, and manipulate my ideas, to make them visually appealing. I was taught how to use the 3D model, with Jamie and Thomas, from the fablab.
I believe I am growing as a designer ever single day, being mentored by elite designers, as well as my designer class mates. Like we all hold each other accountable, in a way.
What I'd like to do in the future?
Well.
I want to enter the Gaming Industry. To become a UX/UI designer, or a game designer, is my passion. I thank my childhood for that.
Games like ROBLOX, have further boosted my way into going into the Gaming industry. They have this unique software called "ROBLOX Studios", which allows ROBLOX players to create their own game, to however they want. The creativeness in making games using this software is limitless, players can do WHATEVER they want, HOWEVER they want.
This is my journey.
